16 Funny Parenting TikToks That Are Making Us All LOL
Depending on the day, parenting can be amazing, aggravating, exhausting, inspiring, frustrating, or just plain STICKY (why is someone always sticky?). Thankfully, parenting also can be very, very funny. Even though the actual act of parenting our kids isn't always a laugh riot, bonding with other parents about the ridiculousness of the experience can lead to actual LOLs, especially when funny parents take their talents to TikTok!
TikTok is home to a lot of questionable content but also some of the funniest moms and dads out there. We've rounded up some of our favorite funny TikToks about parenting, and we're 1000% sure something is here that will make all of us crack up, even as we deal with whatever parenting challenge life is handing out today. Scroll on for some quick laughs from some very funny moms (and a dad or two as well).

Parenting Before and After
Ah yes, weren't we all perfect parents before we had kids? This mom totally captures the major before and after that happens when we go from being perfect parents to theoretical kids to real-life, sometimes hot mess, moms to actual kids.
Hot Dog!
Here's a TikTok that proves that just because we are moms, it doesn't mean we lose our love of dancing. We just lose the cute outfits, the brushed hair, the nights at the club, and the chance to get the earworm of "Hot Dog!" out of our heads.
Things Change After Baby No. 1
Any parent with more than one kid knows that this TikTok is WAY TOO ACCURATE. Has there ever been a third baby to actually get a baby book or even a single photo printed out? Yeah, we didn't think so.

What Is Eden Doing?
This hilarious TikTok proves that when it comes to interrupting a quiet and serious activity, nothing beats a little kid, especially when a bathroom is involved. We love how hard these women tried to keep it together and failed just as much as we did to stop laughing.
Sexiest Dad of the Year?
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift might be getting tons of attention these days, but we are low-key obsessed with Kylie and Jason Kelce. Not only was Jason one of People magazine's Sexiest Men of the Year, but the Kelce documentary also showed just what a funny and down-to-Earth NFL couple they are. Kylie's TikTok shows exactly how much help a big, burly husband can be when it comes to making it through childbirth.
Keep It Real!
Sometimes we watch a TikTok and can totally imagine being friends with the content creator. We'd totally be up for grabbing a cup of coffee and having a gossip sesh with this mom who is tired of people showing only the perfect parts of motherhood during the holidays.
Lying and Hiding
Every mom who has ever asked a red-faced and grunting toddler if they are pooping only to be told "NOOOOO!" will absolutely identify with this TikTok about the ways toddlers love to lie and hide when it comes time to drop No. 2.
First Kid Versus Second Kid Energy
There is a theory that exists that our first kids are easier so we are tricked into thinking parenting is easy, which leads to deciding to have kid No. 2, who comes along to show us exactly how wrong we were about that whole easy thing! This video kind of proves that point perfectly.
Teen Target Energy
Teenagers might think their parents being on TikTok is totally cringe, but the truth is that they tend to think we are cringe no matter what. We salute the parents who flip the script and create content making (loving) fun of their children.
No!
There is nothing so special, majestic, or unusual that a toddler can't decide that they aren't impressed by. This kid might see that giraffe, but that doesn't mean he has to like it.
The Short Order Cook
Oh man. This one is a little too relatable! We wanted to be parents and not short order cooks (for tiny customers who don't even tip well), but sometimes life decides "Why not both?" We end up making grilled cheese, dino nuggies, and pasta with no sauce, all in the same night.
The Press Conference
We always enjoy TikToks from The Dumb Dads, especially when they hold faux press conferences to break down some of the common, but aggravating, parts of parenting life. And yes, this includes having to deal with having 100 apples.
Teenagers Aren't Real People
A lot of parents are funny, and some of them happen to be professionally funny. Comedian Dustin Nickerson totally relates to the very mixed feelings that come with being the parent of a teenager. We love them SO MUCH, but also, why do they have to smell like that?
The Fastest Creature in the World
Fact: There is nothing faster in the universe than a toddler who is up to no good! We love the dedication (and the pixilation) of this short but hilarious TikTok from Mary Hendricks, and so did the almost 200,000 other people who've watched it.
Little Ears Are Always Listening
Peloton instructor and self-described member of the "rachet mom club" Kirsten Ferguson shows us the truth that being a mom doesn't mean we stop liking some dirty music. Instead, we just have to be a little more careful about who else is listening to it.

Confessions to Mom
We loved this viral TikTok that two sisters made to confess all of the things they've messed up or gotten wrong since their mom died. Although their mom may be gone, we're pretty sure she'd be proud of having raised two funny daughters who show that funny parenting lasts forever.
