'Gained a Girl, Almost Lost a Boy': Baby Gender Reveal Goes Horribly Wrong
A Michigan family went viral after posting a baby gender reveal video on TikTok, but it's not for the reason you might think. No one had a tantrum. There was no gender disappointment. No one destroyed public property or egregiously polluted the Earth. But someone almost did die.
Thanks to social media, it seems we see more and more gender reveal videos each day, despite the fact that they've been slammed by Gen-Z for being inappropriate, and at times even offensive. To be honest, we're tired of seeing dads have fits because they're having little girls, so this particular video was refreshing. It's a girl! And everyone is happy. Maybe a little too happy.

The family of four was super excited.
In the video, the Theobald family is gathered in their kitchen β mom, dad, and their two boys β each eagerly holding a cupcake. Dad says he wants to change his guess from girl to boy at the last minute, but mom won't let him.
Everyone takes a big bite.
Everyone then takes a big bite into their cupcakes and they realize mom is pregnant with a baby girl! They're visibly excited and everyone is smiling and laughing and celebrating. Hugs are given out and then, suddenly, we see one of the boys looking a bit panicked. It quickly becomes clear that he's choking on his cupcake with mom and dad none the wiser.
