Lauren Wellbank

Talk about things that go bump in the night! Selling Sunset star Christine Quinn and her husband, Christian Richard, were abruptly awoken sometime late Thursday night/ early Friday morning when two men tried to break into their home. As if that's not scary enough, the attempted home invaders were just feet away from the couple's 9-month-old baby before they fled.

The 'Selling Sunset' star shared her scary story with her Instagram followers.

In a series of videos and photos shared to her Instagram story, Christine detailed the haunting way she and Christian discovered the men trying to break into her home.

"We woke up to noises and the noises started getting louder," she explained while appearing to be sitting in her room in her pajamas. "We didn't know what was going on. We immediately checked the security footage and outside of the master bedroom, which is four feet — right here, there [were] two armed robbers breaking our glass window."

As if that's not scary enough, it gets worse!

The men weren't able to break the windows, but Christine and her husband didn't want to take any chances.

The pair's 9-month-old son was sleeping just feet away from where all the commotion took place. Once Christine and Christian realized what was going on, the new mom said they raced to their son's room where they locked the door and called for help.

"The cops were here within a minute," she told her fans.

According to police, the men escaped and remain on the run.

Page Six confirmed the news with a representative for the Los Angeles Police Department. "One of the suspects broke the window of the home," the source explained. "Suspects fled the location without entering the residence. Suspects were gone prior to the officers' arrival. No property was taken."

We have to admit that sounds terrifying but also like the best possible outcome since nobody was hurt and nothing was taken.

Christine is asking her fans for help.

The reality star finished telling her story and immediately asked her 2.7 million followers for their help. "If anyone knows these people, please immediately let me know," she said, sharing grainy photos of the suspects, which she revealed will be clearer tomorrow.

"This was the most horrifying moment of my life, when we're laying in bed and there is two armed men that we're watching on cameras literally four feet from me and my baby is sleeping very close to us."

We can't imagine how terrifying the whole ordeal must've been for the family.

Christine's rep addressed the attempted break in during a conversation with Page Six. "Christine is safe, but shaken," the rep told the publication.

Honestly, we would be shaken too! We're glad to hear everyone is OK but we're also hopeful that Christine's surveillance photos lead to some arrests. We would hate for someone else to end up in a similar situation.
