Fans React to Chelsea's Most Cringe-Worthy Moments on 'Love Is Blind'

Sa'iyda Shabazz

So far, season six of Love Is Blind has had a way more chaotic energy compared to the seasons that came before it. First of all, thanks to social media sleuths, we discovered that Trevor was in a whole relationship while he was on the show, and apparently he wasn't the only guy who may have fallen into that category. But no one has been more talked about than Chelsea Blackwell. From her comments about resembling Megan Fox to all of the on-screen crying we've witnessed, fans of the show are deeming her as the most cringe participant this season, and they have a lot to say about it.

Chelsea hasn't made a great impression so far.

Chelsea's fiancé, Jimmy, hasn’t been a particularly likable participant in this season all on his own, without any help from anyone else. But his relationship with Chelsea has become so tumultuous that people like the fan in the tweet above are actually starting to take his side. Who would have thought?!

She's really doing the most.

A perfect example of her clinginess summed up in this post from X (formerly Twitter). Of course, the show is heavily edited, but it seems a bit extreme to be so upset if your partner goes out for a little while without you. Not everyone likes to be at home all the time, and it’s important to have time away from your partner. Maybe they needed to communicate better.

Her insecurities are a hot topic.

It’s becoming obvious that people are never going to get past Chelsea being a stage 10 clinger. And why should they? It makes for good television!

Maybe she’s still feeling anxious about the fact that she picked a guy who only wanted her because she claimed to look like Megan Fox.

Many think *she's* the villain.

In a season full of messy people, it may be hard to find a true villain in all of them. But Chelsea being on people’s radar as the villain of Love is Blind season 6 doesn’t feel like that much of a stretch given what we've seen of her on the show.

She did what now?

Chelsea, listen. You need to wash your face before bed, sweetie. We are not 21 anymore, and we know the dangers of not adhering to a proper skin care regimen.

Maybe she’s doing it because she’s afraid of Jimmy seeing her without makeup on, or maybe because she’s on TV. But either way, not a good idea!

People are even mocking the way she runs.

We all do weird things when we’re excited. But where Chelsea's concerned, it's happened twice — once when she met Jimmy for the first time and in the scene shown in this video.

We can cut her some slack for this, though. There's no shame in being pumped about seeing people you care about.

Many people think she needs some serious therapy.

Fun fact: According to what she told her followers during an Instagram Q&A (via People), Chelsea immediately got herself a therapist after she appeared on the show. She said the production team behind Love Is Blind even helped her find someone and assisted her in covering the cost.

She seems to be taking some of the criticism to heart.

"I've never seeked a therapist before but man oh man, I feel everyone could benefit from having an unbiased opinion," Chelsea wrote in an Instagram Stories post. "I had a ton of inner issues I needed to debunk and my life, my mindset, my heart has completely changed."

Some think she has questionable taste in men.

Jimmy took issue with Chelsea misrepresenting her resemblance to Megan Fox, which ... OK, fine. But she clearly thought that he was more attractive than other men on the show, so maybe he could have let that one go?

People are really, truly starting to take Jimmy's side.

Again, Jimmy isn't exactly a fan favorite, but fans believe he shouldn’t have to constantly validate Chelsea at every turn, especially after their most recent arguments about hanging out with his female friends.

The season's not over yet, and maybe Chelsea will show how much she's grown at the reunion in a couple of weeks. Until then, we'll give her the benefit of the doubt. After all, it takes a lot of guts to put yourself out there on reality TV in the name of love like this!
