Kate Middleton Hasn't Been Seen in 2 Months & People Are Starting To Get Suspicious
Kate Middleton is taking a break from royal duties as she recovers from an abdominal surgery she underwent in January, but is something more going on behind the scenes? Some royal watchers certainly seem to think so. The last time Kate was spotted in public was Christmas, and now that nearly two months have passed since then, some people are starting to believe that the royal family has something to hide.

It's been a while since anyone has seen the Princess of Wales.
As Nicki Swift pointed out, the last public appearance that Kate made was on Christmas, when she joined her family for their traditional walk at Sandringham.
It was only a couple of weeks later that the palace shared the news that Kate had been admitted to the hospital and would be taking a break from royal duties until after Easter while she recovered.
So much time has passed, but we haven't received much of an update.
Nearly two weeks after news broke that Kate had been hospitalized, the palace provided an update to let the world know that she had been discharged from the hospital, but since then, it's been radio silence on Kate's condition.
Of course, she's still recovering as planned, but it's surprising we haven't seen any photos of her at home in all this time — not to mention that whatever condition she was (or still is) suffering from has remained a mystery.
People are starting to wonder what's going on.
Not only are people wondering where Kate's is, but many of them are even more suspicious knowing that the press doesn't seem to have tried to figure it out either, which could indicate that the royal family has already put a stop to any investigating.
"No one is asking for detailed information on Kate Middleton's health," one person wrote on X (formerly Twitter). "We are pointing out that the palace released pretty nebulous statements with no pap or official photos and the british press (known for their utmost respect of privacy) just went 'ok.'"
Some people have some truly wild theories about what's up.
"After extensive web research whilst doing laundry, I am now convinced Kate Middleton is either negotiating the largest divorce settlement the BRF has ever paid out, is recovering from a mental health crisis, or is dead," one person tweeted.
Another tweeted, "A theory that might also be very likely is that #KateMiddleton took the kids and left #PrinceWilliam to stay with her parents. If not, why wouldn't the kids be seen being paraded around by #WorkshyWilly?"

From Christmas to Easter is a long time for Kate to go without being seen.
Hopefully, whatever's going on isn't as bad as what people are imagining. In this case, the most likely scenario could just be exactly what the palace has told us: Kate's taking the time she needs to heal after a major surgery. If nothing else, it's great that she's able to get this level of privacy while she does just that.
