Tips for Getting Diamond Glow Facial Results at Home

Anything that causes inflammation can cause post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. First things first: Listen to your mother. Never leave the house without sunscreen! We love this sun and skin care hybrid, which is a broad spectrum SPF 50 that shields your skin from 99% of UVA/UVB rays. This formulation is rooted in Ayurveda and is intentionally made for hyperpigmented and sensitive skin.

Don’t skip the overnights! That’s when your skin does most of its recovery, and it’s a MUST when looking for the glow. Look for a moisturizing overnight cream that includes retinol, niacinamide and licorice root extract to help provide brighter, smoother skin. We also love a little caffeine (in the product, not in your stomach) to help reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

If you don’t have an exfoliating toner in your skin care routine, add this step ASAP! PHA (polyhydroxy acid) gives your skin daily gentle exfoliation. You may think exfoliating will dry you out, but the 5.5% gluconolactone, aka PHA, works to both exfoliate the skin surface and acts as a "moisture magnet" to keep the skin hydrated and healthy-looking.

Pro tip: If you're a retinol fan, you can add Press & Glow to your routine. The PHA works in partnership with vitamin A for smoother texture and boosted hydration.

We love a serum in a mist. This product will give you a burst of hydration as well as a skin-centric vitamin boost. And for three-in-one convenience, it even will set your makeup while protecting against pollution and blue light!
