Video surveillance from a Georgia Walmart caught a fierce confrontation between two shoppers. The women allegedly disagreed about the behavior of one of the women's children. But instead of taking the criticism and walking away, the mother whose parenting was questioned reportedly got angry.

The scuffle occurred October 26 at the Duluth Walmart on Pleasant Hill Road. Despite her attempt to escape, one mom ended up in jail on assault charges.

One mom had seemingly had enough of the other mom's kids.

A surveillance video from Walmart shared by WSB-TV shows two women: Brittany George, dressed in black, and another unidentified woman wearing orange. The news outlet reported that, according to police, the woman in orange told George her sons were too loud. This apparently set George off, and she subsequently went after the other woman.

George appeared to have a tantrum of her own.

The video shows George grabbing a box of crayons and throwing it toward the woman in orange. She missed and instead hit the other woman's son in the face, which caused him to cry. The woman in orange calls for help, and it appears George is leaving. But instead, she lunges at the woman and hits her in the face.

Evidently, George wasn't counting on cameras.

She left the store before police arrived, but not only did surveillance pick up the attack, but also cameras in the parking lot reportedly captured her get into a car with a visible license plate number. George was arrested and charged with felony child cruelty and simple assault, according to WSB-TV.

Other shoppers thought the woman in orange's behavior was brave.

WSB-TV's Matt Johnson visited the Walmart store on Monday to get customers' reactions to the incident. Not surprisingly, some of them were pretty shocked by what happened.

One woman said she wasn't sure whether she would have stepped in. It really would have depended on how "unruly" the children acted and if anyone was getting hurt.

Another shopper said he would have just kept moving. "I just avoid it because people crazy these days."

The incident sparked debate online.

People had a lot of differing opinions when WSB-TV shared the story on its Facebook page. Some thought the woman in orange should've kept walking.

"Hang on, I'll fix it. 'Woman not minding her own business starts fight.' There we go," one commenter wrote.

And someone countered, "it didn't warrant a physical assault. Now we know why her children are loud and unruly. The Apple doesn't fall far from the tree."

Others were shocked that the lady in black didn't end up fatally injured after she hurt the other mom's kid.

"And she didn't get zipped up in a walmart bag? She's lucky," another person commented.

"Some stranger throws something at my kids I'M the one going to jail cause they ain't getting back up," someone else wrote.

"Ive got to the point where I just turn and walk away or walk on by. If the kids do or say some thing direct to me, then that MIGHT be a different story!! I will stop right there!!" another comment reads.

Johnson went by George’s house to hear her side of the story, but she reportedly didn't want to talk.
