Mom's Hilarious Video of Her Husband Passed Out on the Delivery Room Floor Goes Viral
Giving birth is tough. There are the contractions, the pushes, and the giant needles they put into our backs to mitigate some of the pain a mom experiences when pushing a giant baby out of a very small space. It is pretty darn intense. And then, of course, it can be hard for dads while they sit back and watch.
Trust us, we have seen a dad or two get squeamish in the delivery room, but Corianne Johnson's experience with her husband, Cody, 32, might be some of the best the internet offers. Corianne, 26, was laboring with the couple's daughter, Navy. Cody couldn't take it and hit the ground. Thankfully for us and millions of other viewers on TikTok, Corianne shared the delivery room disaster.

Cody was down for the count.
The quick video plays music reminiscent of the tune from Home Alone but with a musician that sounds a little drunk. We see Cody on the ground, looking like someone hit him with a sucker punch. The caption on the video reads, "I'm totally not going to pass out while you're in labor, babe."
But that poor fella did not keep his word and down he went. Corianne had a feeling this would happen and proudly shared the hilarious images of Cody.
The dad-to-be doesn't do needles.
In an interview with Today, Corianne said her prediction was correct and that she regrets not putting money on it. But get this: Cody never saw any of the real action.
"He can't handle needles. He didn't even see the needle go into my back — he just saw the needle and that was it. He went down," she explained.
This sounds painfully similar to a man we know all too well who went down in the delivery room when they started to clean off his wife's back before the needle even came out. But we digress.
Guess what? The nurses just kept busy with Corianne.
This kind of thing happens a lot in the delivery room. Corianne told Today that her nurses took great care of her, even when Cody was on the floor. They did hand him a cold rag to put on his head, but no one seemed to think it was an emergency.
"They were like, 'Yup. He'll be fine, this happens all the time,'" Corianne told the morning show.
Thankfully, Cody recovered quickly and was present for the good part.
Corianne said he was out for about 10 minutes and had no memory of fainting. That was a good thing because he needed to keep strong.
Thankfully for everyone involved, the actual birth was no problem for Cody. He helped his wife with the pushing and delivery of their baby, Navy.
"My family is never going to let him live this down," Corianne joked with Today.

TikTokers can't get enough of poor Cody on the floor.
The comment section is gold, with many people laughing along with Corianne.
"at my hospital they made my husband sign a paper that said if he passed out they would leave him there, bc they weren't there to take care of him 😂," one mom confessed.
"I would have laughed so hard the baby would have just came right out 😂😂," another woman shared.
"It's hard being the man during labor 😩😩🤣 jk.. I know it can be intense to see," someone else joked.
One family's experience in the delivery room led to a solid plan for next time.
"My husband passed out when I got the epidural😂my in laws told us they'll get him a helmet if we have another baby just in case," the mom wrote.
