North West's Controversial New Halloween Costume Inspired by Dad Kanye West Goes Viral

Every year, fans wait not-so-patiently for the Kardashian family to reveal their over-the-top costumes, and lately, even their kids have been getting in on the fun, especially North West, who already has a true passion for fashion. This year, she decided to pay tribute to dad Kanye West with her costume, which is a throwback to his 2007 album Graduation, which came out years before North was even born! And now that her costume has made its debut, it's already going viral.

North showed off her costume over the weekend.

In a TikTok posted to the account that Kim and North shared, the 10-year-old showed off her costume to the soundtrack of her dad's song "American Boy" featuring Estelle.

As she dances, we can see that she's dressed up as the "Dropout Bear" mascot from the Graduation album cover.

She really went all out this year.

It seems North was really thrilled with the way her costume turned out (after all, it does appear to be totally custom made). In another video on TikTok, she danced to Kanye's song "Can't Tell Me Nothing."

We can only imagine what a proud dad he must have been seeing this!

Although, of course, there was a bit of controversy over North's choice — this is Ye we're talking about, after all — plenty of people also took to Twitter to share their more positive thoughts about North's elaborate ensemble, with many of them cheering her on for her choice and the way she flawlessly pulled it off.

"One thing about North West, she will cosplay her Kanye any day. She ate this 'Graduation' bear Halloween costume," one person tweeted.

Another person agreed, writing, "The video of north west dressed as the graduation bear gotta be the best video on the internet right now."

This isn't the first time Ye's kids have paid tribute to him with their costumes.

In fact, back in 2018, Saint and his cousin Reign Disick (the son of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick) dressed up as Ye and Lil Pump from their Saturday Night Live performance of "I Love It" for Halloween. Back then, their costumes were just as impressive as North's is now!

The spooky fun isn't over yet.

After all, Halloween isn't until Tuesday, so it wouldn't be surprising if Kim and her kids had another surprise up their sleeves, especially because they usually put together at least one coordinating family costume every year.

We can't see what else the Kardashians have come up with this year! Sure, their costumes usually cost more than our entire Halloween budgets, but that's part of what makes it so much fun to see their outfits year after year.
