Peppa Pig Tweets Hilarious Burn After Receiving a Better Album Review Than Kanye West

Although we wouldn't normally expect to see these two names side-by-side, it would appear that Peppa Pig and Kanye West are making headlines together. And it's not for the reason you would think. Peppa recently roasted the rapper on Twitter after her new album received a higher Pitchfork rating than Kanye's long-anticipated Donda did. We have to admit that this little piggy has a point.

We're not sure if cartoon pigs can have "beef" with someone, but it would appear Peppa is doing her best to find out.

A fast-acting reporter with Page Six was able to capture a screen grab of the image, which was later removed by someone at the Peppa Pig official Twitter page. In the post, side-by-side images are posted from the reviews of Kanye's new album, Donda, and Peppa’s, Peppa's Adventures.

Peppa's album was rated 6.5, which is impressive for a cartoon pig. Kanye's album, which was released more than a month later than expected and dropped amid a whole lot of controversy, only received a 6.

Peppa absolutely roasted the rapper in her tweet, making us wonder if she is more of a Drake fan.

In addition to posting the visuals from the review, Peppa explained how she was able to beat out Kanye's rating despite all of the rapper’s pre-release antics. "Peppa didn't need to host listening parties in Mercedes-Benz Stadium to get that .5," she posted before adding a mic and pig snout emoji.

Peppa's response comes hot on the heels of the release of the assumed cover art for Drake's upcoming album. We have to wonder if maybe Peppa is secretly a Drake fan and looking to redirect the attention away from those who were critical of the emoji-filled artwork.

Parents everywhere likely read the tweet in Peppa's familiar voice.

We can't imagine there's usually a whole lot of crossover between Peppa's fan base — which is largely made up of those around preschool age — and Kanye's more mature listeners, but we have to bet that the overlap of those who are both Kanye fans and parents of young children are really getting a kick out of this spat.

This is only the second album for Peppa.

Peppa's sophomore album received the rating, which is out of a possible 10, on July 31. "The 4-year-old pop phenom and famous pig’s second album is a charming and self-assured celebration of family, friendship, and muddy puddles," the Pitchfork reviewer wrote of her album.

Kanye's album, on the other hand, was met with a less glowing review. "Now, something has dulled in [Kanye's] kingdom," the reviewer wrote about how watching the rapper create and perform music used to be an exciting spectacle. "And the thrill of watching man vs. art has turned into a rote acceptance of Kanye and his stadium-sized album release events, shelved projects, billion-dollar sneaker empire, public grappling with bipolar disorder, devotion to Christianity and non-secular music, MAGA tryst with former President Donald Trump, and presidential run of his own."

Although it's not uncommon for pigs like Peppa to roll around in the mud, it's clear the post was all in good clean fun.

Peppa's post was obviously meant to be funny — after all, Peppa's parents do a good job of making sure she knows it's not nice to be mean to others. However, we have to wonder how good-natured Kanye will be about it all. We have a feeling Kanye's kids are about to watch a whole lot less Peppa Pig in the foreseeable future.
