Amazon-Loving Mom Nails Her Passion for Online Shopping With Epic Pregnancy Announcement
Like most of us, mom Priyanka Mahadevappa from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, does a lot of online shopping, but little did she know that her love of Prime free shipping would be a source of inspiration. The soon-to-be mom-of-two recently sent the internet in a tizzy for her adorable pregnancy announcement that would be Amazon approved.
The mom first realized her passion for Prime before the birth of her first daughter, Ivanshi.
Speaking with CafeMom, Mahadevappa, who owns Priyanka Photoworks, tells us that they would order “heaps of things from Amazon,” resulting in piles and piles of boxes.
“I’m a hoarder of those Amazon boxes because I always feel it’ll be useful in one or the other way — I actually never happened to use it for anything but just kept filling up my store room with it,” she says.
Same, girl. Same.
But one day, her husband finally had enough.
He threatened to trash her treasured stash of Amazon boxes, but his threat actually sparked a great idea.
“I instantly said ‘wait, maybe I could take a picture of our baby in it,’” she says. “And I did take my daughter’s newborn picture with the theme.”
Now that she's pregnant for the second time, Mahadevappa tells us she used that photo as a little prequel to her latest pregnancy announcement.
“It only made sense to add a sequel to her newborn picture that I’d taken back then,” she tells us.
The result is Ivanshi adorably sitting on a stack of Amazon boxes. Next to her is a wish list fit for any rambunctious toddler.
Mermaid Princess Doll. Check. Radio Flyer Tricycle. Check. Baby Brother/Sister. Check!
The estimated delivery (due date) date is November 2021 — and no, this last package is not eligible for returns or Amazon Prime.
Clearly, this mom is ready for delivery. Unlike regular Amazon packages, however, we're pretty sure she's going to be happy whenever it arrives.
