See Rihanna as the Cutest Mama in This Behind-the-Scenes Video From Her Vogue Cover Shoot
Just a couple of weeks after Rihanna's British Vogue cover story dropped, we're getting a look at what was going on behind the scenes the day of her photo shoot. Thanks to this new footage, we finally have a glimpse of the Fenty boss as a mama to her baby boy, and this video is just too adorable.
Rihanna's Vogue cover has kept people talking.
Hot on the heels of her Super Bowl performance (and that surprise pregnancy announcement), Rihanna shared what her experience as a mom has been like so far. On the cover, she posed with partner A$AP Rocky and their son, sharing some of the first photos of her little boy.
Now, we get to see the BTS footage from the shoot.
British Vogue shared the footage on its YouTube channel, which included clips of Rihanna hanging out with her baby boy. Because she hasn't shared many photos or videos of him publicly yet, this is a rare look at her on mom duty, and we can confirm that she looks made for this job.
It may be less than a minute of footage, but this really says it all.
Rihanna's mom, Monica, was on hand for the shoot.
We don't doubt that it was helpful to have Grandma there to assist, but judging by the smiles on her face, it seems like it was just as much of a treat for Rihanna's mom, Monica Fenty.
In one clip, we can see Monica hand off the baby to her daughter, who's grinning at the sight of her son. So cute!
Another sweet moment took place while the photographer was taking photos of Rihanna with her son.
Proudly watching him crawl all over the red fabric they were posing on, she says, "He doesn't crawl, he leaps."
In another sweet moment during that part of the shoot, we can see Rihanna cooing at her baby boy, trying to get him to smile, and giving him smooches on his feet.
It's no wonder the shoot turned out so well.
We can see from the video that Rihanna and Rocky both seemed to be having so much fun with it — including the part where everyone on set was doing their best to get the baby to look at the camera. (We've all been there.)
And now, with another baby on the way, we can only keep our fingers crossed that another shoot like this is in her future.
