Wife Sends Hubby to Dermatologist With Circled Moles & Doc Responds With Notes on His Body
Brinlee Miles is nothing if not thorough. Before her husband headed off to a recent checkup with the dermatologist, the Utah woman wanted to make extra he wouldn't forget to ask certain questions. So she whipped out a pen and started writing down some "notes." (Well, sort of.) In reality, Brinlee put a big ole circle around every mole on her husband's body that concerned her — which wound up being a pretty hilarious sight for his doctor.
Brinlee shared the story in a TikTok video she posted November 30.
"This is how I sent my husband to the dermatologist," Brinlee writes in the video as she smiles and shakes her head.
Then, the camera turns to her husband, who stands shirtless before her with pen marks all over his body.

The guy has so many holes drawn on him that he looks like a piece of Swiss cheese.
Undeterred, he smiles and heads off to the doctor (clearly very prepared).
When he returns, he's holding a note, which he immediately hands over to his wife.
As Brinlee shares, it's a slip from the dermatologist — who was no doubt amused by her meticulous handiwork. But before she can even read it, her husband lifts up his shirt to reveal even more messages from the doctor.
Next to every single mole Brinlee had circled, there was a written response about whether to be concerned.
Luckily, most of them had the word "good" written beside them to indicate that she shouldn't worry. But a few (which Brinlee actually hadn't circled) were taken to be biopsied, which the doctor noted by writing, "took to test."
In fact, that was why her husband brought a slip of paper home — the dermatologist had jotted down some notes about post-biopsy skin care. (Brinlee followed up in the comments by saying that they're expecting the results back soon.)
Believe it or not, the funny little story has been viewed more than 6.9 million times.
And, just like the doctor, most people were highly amused by it.
“The dermatologist understood the assignment,” one person commented.
“That’s another man that’s going to probably live longer because he’s married,” joked someone else.
Another woman said she was "saving this" idea for the future to use with her husband, who isn't the best at communicating with his doctor.
Apparently, though, this isn't something new.
“I work in Derm and you’d be surprised how many women send their husbands covered in circles!” wrote one TikToker.
“As a term nurse, we love when this happens!” added someone else. “Good job looking out!
“I do the exact same thing when my patients come in with circles!” another person shared.
Of course, there were a few negative comments.
Most were from TikTokers who couldn't appreciate the humor (or, quite honestly, the love) behind the gesture.
"Why are we parenting adults?" asked one person, while another called it "weaponized incompetence."
"He's a grown man and he can't handle going to the doctor by himself?" the person asked.
But plenty of others gave this wife a round of applause — including some guys.
"Honestly, if my wife did this to me, it would save me so much time and unnecessary banter with the doc,” wrote one man.
And at least a few others called out the real message that should be taken from this post — which is that regular skin checks are super important.
“As a person who lost my husband to melanoma," wrote one woman, "THANK YOU for getting skin checks!"
