Woman's Reaction to TikTok Hack That Turns Old Undies Into Bras Is Straight Up Hysterical
TikTokers are always sharing clever DIY tips that leave you thinking, "Why didn't I think of that?!" But one woman's recent attempt at a TikTok hack probably won't leave you in awe so much as it'll leave you with severe stomach cramps from laughing so hard. Apparently, TikTok user tertaay recently came across a video showing how a silky pair of women's underwear could be transformed into a lightweight bralette. (Pretty nifty, huh?) But when she thought long and hard about trying the hack herself, she decided to put a different spin on it ... one that now has people in stitches.
A clip of tertaay's attempt has gone so viral, it's now making the rounds on Facebook too.
It opens with a portion of the original video that inspired her, which looks like it was pulled from some kind of '80s infomercial.
As techno music blasts in the background, we see someone lay down a pair of silky, magenta-colored underwear, just as they begin cutting straight through the crotch with a pair of scissors.
Seconds later, a model reveals the new purpose: a DIY bralette!
By simply shoving your face through the former crotch of the underwear, you now have a new way to hold your boobies when you're out and about! (Who cares if your head is now peeking out of the spot where your vagina once was? It's called ingenuity, people!)
tertaay was apparently impressed by the trend when she saw it but thought it could use some practical modifications.
What if instead of destroying a *nice* pair of underwear, she cut up a pair that's already seen better days?
That way, if the hack went wrong, she wouldn't be out any money. Plus, if she took a really "lived-in" pair, at least she'd know that the bralette would be comfy, right?
"I'm not going to ruin a perfectly good pair of granny panties ... " tertaay says in the clip.
"I got these bad boys!" she then declares, before proudly holding up a pair of oversized men's boxer briefs?
Then, before the viewer can even brace for what's about to come next ...
... tertaay transforms those giant man panties into the most epic boobie-holder EVER.
OH. MY. GOD.
"F---, yeah!" she exclaims, as she begins to model her DIY bra like a Victoria's Secret runway model.
And honestly, we have to say, it does look pretty comfy!
The video, which no longer appears to be on TikTok, has been making people cry-laugh for weeks.
On Facebook, where it was shared June 9 by a user named Faris Gameel, it's received more than 5.3 million views and has been shared thousands of times.
People have also tagged everyone from their partners to their BFFs in the comments, with one person telling a friend, "Get out your old undies!"
The video is made even better by tertaay's hilarious commentary.
At one point, she says she feels "real respectable" in her man panty bra — so much so, that she wouldn't even be embarrassed to meet the Queen herself while wearing the creative top.
"She'd be impressed by my curtsy," tertaay continues, while literally using her boobs to curtsy.
"And then we could take a photo together," she continues, as she takes a pretend selfie from above and then hides her phone in a slit by her cleavage — aka the same slit that men usually use to pee out of.
"And then we could play a game of one-on-one!" tertaay says, as she jumps around in place, causing her boobs to fly in almost every direction you could think of.
