We all deserve a bit of recognition from time to time. When we do a job well, it's the cherry on the top for our hard work to be noticed and appreciated. That’s the idea behind Women's History Month. Celebrated through the month of March across the world, it was officially made a full month in 1987 to hone in on and celebrate the contributions and accomplishments of women throughout history.
There are many ways to celebrate and recognize Women's History Month. We can focus on supporting nonprofits that benefit the lives of women or advocate for reproductive rights. We can teach our kids about the women's suffrage movement through history. We can increase our support of women-owned local businesses or write to the women in our lives we look up to.
