Bride-To-Be's Wedding Dress Try-On Pic Shows 'Glitch in the Matrix' & Now People are Shook
Do you remember where you were in 2015 when "the dress" made the whole world mad? Was it black and blue or white and gold? It tore families apart and had coworkers switching cubicles. People were hell-bent on what they thought they saw. It's been eight years, and just when we were all returning to our everyday lives, it seems another dress is about to make the world go wild again.
Comedian Tessa Coates recently shared a pic of herself on Instagram trying on a wedding dress. The floral dress is lovely, but what's happening in the mirrors has some people puzzled and others wanting her to run as fast as she could from that dress shop.

It was a pretty photo.
The shot shows the back of Coates' dress and her reflection in the mirrors. But it was a tad unsettling. She captioned the image, "I went wedding dress shopping, and the fabric of reality crumbled. This is a real photo, not photoshopped, not a pano, not a Live Photo. If you can't see the problem, please keep looking, and then you won't be able to unsee it."
It took us a second. But yep, she's right. We couldn't look away.
Coates swears the image wasn't photoshopped.
Take a closer look. We'll wait while you do. You saw it, didn't you? No? OK, we'll give you a little help. Coates is facing the mirror with her left arm down and right arm along her waist. But here's where it gets nutty. Both arms are at her sides in the left mirror, and in the right mirror, they're clenched together at her waist.
Ugh. We know. We know! And Coates felt it, too.
She wrote, "Please enjoy this glitch in the matrix/photo that me nearly vomit in the street ❤️ 💒 Also, I'm engaged! 💍"
Plenty of people are perplexed.
She initially shared the image in her Instagram Stories but later posted it to her main page. Followers had thoughts.
"This whole thing was rollercoaster from OMG you're engaged 🥳 to OMG you look so beautiful 😍 to OMG what is happening 🤢," someone wrote.
It was just too much for some people.
"What in the black mirror is happening 😮," another comment reads.
"No way. This can't be real. I want the red pill," someone wrote.
"The mirrors are clearly gateways to other realities, no other option 😮," another person commented.
But so many people loved it.
Coates has a great sense of humor, and her followers thought she nailed her big reveal.
"Obsessed that this is the deranged way you accidentally announced the engagement," one follower wrote.
"Only you can find the most epic way to announce your engagement— mystery and excitement 😍 — congratulations!" someone else agreed.

One person thought he had it all figured out.
It may not be a glitch in the matrix after all. One Instagrammer wrote that it all has to do with technology.
"It's very simple. When taking any photo with a modern cellphone, especially in low light, it takes scans from left to right. Any movement will be captured even if not a pano because the mirrors are staticky placed but the subject is moving," he explained.
We're going with this guy's answer because it makes us feel better. And just like Coates, we can't unsee it either and want to move on with our lives. But boy, we can't wait to see this wedding album!
