A Mom Joked About Paying $70 for Cereal at Disney World & the Internet Lost Its Mind
It’s no secret that a family trip to any Disney park is not cheap. After all, it’s the most magical place on Earth and many parents will move heaven and hell to give their children this experience. But apparently, as inflation affects nearly every sector of our economy, the same is true for prices at Disney World.
They’re soaring. One mother expressed her frustration in sharing the most expensive bowl of cereal she’ll likely ever pay for, and the internet did not respond well.

Kaitlin and her daughter ate at Cinderella’s Royal Table Resort.
Kaitlin LeBeouf is a travel agent who recently took her 4-year-old daughter to Disney World. The two ate at Cinderella’s Royal Table Resort. And the prices were fit for a queen. Some viewers called Kaitlin a liar.
While some were taken aback by the price, others came to Disney’s defense, accusing Kaitlin of spreading lies.
“So you just made a video that’s a giant lie?” one user asked, reported the New York Post.
"What a clout chaser," someone wrote. "Maybe make a factual video next time not scolding Disney."
Others had comments about her daughter’s behavior in the seconds-long clip.
Later, Kaitlin provided clarification.
Later, after the video went viral and Kaitlin was featured on the Daily Mail's website, she shared a bit more context about the moment. “I am a travel agent. I am well aware of the prices,” Kaitlin said. “[Breakfast] was $42 plus gratuity and tax.”
Kaitlin said her daughter chose Frosted Flakes because she’s 4. She also addressed the people who had criticisms about her daughter being a brat because she was reluctant to let her mom hold her coveted bowl of cereal.
Lastly, she reminded people to be kind on the internet.
Finally, Kaitlin offered a message for people on the internet. “The most important part, if you get anything from this video is be kind. You do not know someone from a few second video.” She said some people are downright mean and she’s thankful that she has thick skin. But ultimately, Kaitlin says she regrets nothing. “We had a great time and we would do it again," she says.
