You know what we love? A good old-fashioned dance battle. They are always fun to watch, and we get particularly excited when kids decide to take on their parents, fully expecting to crush them. But we cheer even louder when a parent busts out some unexpectedly amazing moves.

When Chris Starkey's daughter challenged him to a little dance-off to Flo Rida's Low, she probably had no idea that her dad's move would garner the pair a crazy viral audience. Starkey originally posted the video as a quarantine-themed dance-off in March 2020, and it just bubbled back up in our social media feeds, making us smile from ear-to-ear all over again. The video has amassed 14 million views and inspired the 50-something dad to continue to dance and entertain on social media.

Starkey was ready.

He explains in the viral clip that he was working when his daughter, Brooklyn, approached him to battle. He jokes and says his daughter doesn't realize what her 51-year-old dad can do.

As the music starts, his daughter tries to push him out of the way, but Starkey is not fazed. The second Flo sings about those Apple Bottom jeans, Starkey gets low. He and Brooklyn are in sync, and they are so fun to watch.

This guy can move, and he didn't hold back.

Starkey does a quick circle and says, "This is where I throw it down, right here."

This dad let it rip, and although Brooklyn does a great job of keeping up with him, he gives her a bit of a shove to finish strong.

She has a smile on her face when her dad yells, "That's right — 51, baby!" And then he slowly disappears from sight.

Millions of viewers loved the dad and daughter dance-off.

Starkey asked for votes, and 119,000 people left comments about the dance-off, with many giving the trophy to him.

"Sorry baby girl dad won all the way! When you have 30 years experience thennnnn try again," someone wrote.

Plenty of commenters agreed.

"That was Awesome. Old Banana for the win!" another comment reads.

"GREAT JOB BOTH OF YOU! (I have to give Chris edge.)," someone else commented.

Lots of people called it a tie.

Facebook fans were amazed by the family's talent.

"she could have been a contender...' cept dad was crowdn' her SPACE ....loved it from both of you---TIE!" one person pointed out.

Others cheered.

"Omg, she's good but YOU get my vote, break it on downnnnn!" another comment reads.

This family "has mad talent!!" one person remarked.

One woman really loved it. "That's it. I'm done. I can die peacefully now... this is by far the best thing Ive ever seen and nothing will ever compare," she wrote.

The dad used his viral fame for good.

Starkey originally went viral in the spring of 2020 during lockdown. Because so many people were stuck at home and unable to see their loved ones, his dancing helped connect them. A friend suggested he use the audience to help others.

"Many hospitals here in Colorado have reached out and are looking for iPads to help the elderly who do not have iPhones to communicate with their family during their time of quarantine. Please PM me and we can pick it up. We also have a drop-off as well if you don't feel comfortable with someone coming to your doorstep," he wrote on Facebook.

He had 20 iPads to share with patients in a matter of days. Absolutely amazing.
